Effective this Spring, Travel Players may no longer play on Recreation Teams.

SMU to hold supplement tryouts for Spring season

Some St. Mary's United select teams will hold supplemental tryouts for the Spring season. Please check here regularly to determine if a team in your age group is seeking players. If you're interested in increasing your level of play, you can contact the age appropriate coach here to arrange for a tryout.

TEAM BROADHEAD going strong

Claire Broadhead is a young lady who plays soccer for the SMU Blaze. Her family is about as active in the SMYS/SMU family as any family ever has been. Her parents coach two teams and are always the first to step up whenever there's a need. Now is the Broadhead's time of need. Claire has been diagnosed with Leukemia and is undergoing treatment at Children's Hospital. So far, the treatment is going well!

CONCUSSION AWARENESS: Everybody's Business

Because of a new State law which went into effect on July 1, 2011, Recreation & Parks is instituting an awareness campaign to provide information about concussions for youth sport administrators, coaches, parents, and athletes.
