Claire's Cup 2014
Registration is now open!
Each year, St. Mary's Soccer hosts Claire's Cup in conjunction with Kohl's American Cup. We start this when one of our own, Claire Broadhead, was diagnosed with cancer. All proceeds of this event go directly to the families of the afflicted children to help offset the mounting costs that go along with fighting this disease. We are happy to report that Claire is in recovery and back on the pitch and doing the same things all her peers are doing! But we realized that she wasn't the only one with this fight - so we have vowed to identify a new child every year and help their family.
This year, we have selected Colton Kirchner. Colton is a brave 7-year-old that is fighting All B-Cell Leukemia. For more on Colton's story, please visit his GIVE FORWARD site.
You can support the cause this year by putting together a team to participate in Claire's Cup on Friday night, November 14th @ Chancellor's Run Regional Park. Cost per team is only $150 and we guarantee you will have a great time. And we promise - we'll play you in the division that is suitable for your skill level - so if you're still not giving up the dream of playing for a living, you'll play against the other dreamers. Or, if you simply want to do some good - we have a division for you as well.
For more information and to register - please VISIT THE REGISTRATION SITE today. And we Thank you in advance for helping us help Colton!
If you would ike to help even more - you can donate directly to the Kirchner's as well. See below for that info:
