SMYS says "Thank You" to local contractor
Following the closure of the Loffler Senior Center for repairs after snow storm damage, SMYS was on the hunt for a place to conduct the monthly meetings needed to make SMYS work. Enter government contractor, PSIPax, which offered up their conference rooms "whenever needed." SMYS board members Don Blottenberger (left) and Alan Buster (right), presented PSIPax president, Nasser Basir a plaque recently in the company’s local offices to thank them for the assistance.

Because of a new State law which went into effect on July 1, 2011, Recreation & Parks is instituting an awareness campaign to provide information about concussions for youth sport administrators, coaches, parents, and athletes.
